Ohio’s Natural wine distributor

Who we are.

Voyager Beverage is an independently owned importer and distributor of low-intervention wine, cider, and sake. We currently serve the Cleveland, Columbus. Cincinnati, and Dayton metro areas since 2021. We’re passionate about bringing our portfolio of beverages to Ohio for the first time, purveying only small lot, organically farmed, natural wines and ciders.

Our namesake comes from the sense of adventure we feel about natural wine and cider. Whether it’s a pet nat from Italy or a co-fermented cider from New York, we seek adventure and hope others can enjoy the ride, too.

Our work background is in startups more so than wine, so our expertise lies in customer service and partnerships. We believe every successful partnership is a two way street, and put the interests of our partners on the same footing as our own business. We’re in Ohio to build long term, mutually beneficial relationships. We view it a privilege to represent passionate producers, share their stories, and sell their products to independent, usually, family run businesses.

  • Zev Rovine Selections

We onboarded, in my estimation, one of the best books for low intervention winemaking with Zev Rovine Selections. A pan-european portfolio with highly allocated gems, glass pour workhorses, and of course, the renowned Susucaru. We look forward to diving in on this book for years to come.

  • Cantina Giardino

Before ever dreaming of importing or distributing wine, we’d seek out the inimitable wines of Cantina Giardino. A lot of the unique qualities attached to natural wine, skin contact for white varietals, extended maceration, unusual aging vessels, were imparted from experienced with Cantina Giardino.

  • Patrick Bouju

Natural wine tiptoes a line between irreverence and homage to traditions gone past. This balancing act plays out beautifully with Patrick Bouju and Domaine la Boheme. Patrick runs every aspect of his business, from viticulture, winemaking, to even bookkeeping. He’s a pioneer in Auvergne, a bourgeoning hotspot for natural makers. HIs flagship Gamay, Super B, is a blue ribbon favorite of ours.
